Terms and conditions

The agreement between you and us when you order from this shop: how ordering, payment and delivery work, and what you can do if something is wrong.

Who we are

This shop is run by Min-S BV, Doornstraat 39, 8200 Brugge, Belgium. Enterprise number 1023.657.034, RPR Gent, afdeling Brugge. Email info@honey-z.com, phone +32 471 74 11 90.

These terms apply to every order you place on this website as a consumer. By ordering you agree to them. They are available in Dutch, French and English; the contract is concluded in the language you order in.

Products and prices

Prices are in euro and are final prices. We do not charge VAT, because we fall under the special VAT exemption scheme for small businesses (VAT not applicable). Where the law requires it, we also show the price per kilogram.

Shipping costs depend on the destination and are shown in the checkout before you order. Payment by any method costs nothing extra.

Our jars are filled by hand. Photos show what the product looks like; the net weight on the jar is always what you get.

Promo codes come with the conditions shown with them. One promo code applies per order, and a code cannot be exchanged for cash.

How you order

  • Put the products you want in your cart.
  • In the checkout, give your email address, your name and a delivery address. You don't need an account.
  • Check the summary: products, shipping cost, any discount and the total. Use Change details to correct anything.
  • Press Order with obligation to pay. This places your order and reserves the products for you for 30 minutes.
  • Pay through our payment provider Mollie. If you don't complete the payment within that time, the order lapses and nothing is charged.

The contract is concluded when your payment is confirmed. We then send a confirmation by email with the order details and a link to your order page. We keep the order details; you can look at them on that page.

If a price changed or a product sold out while you were ordering, we show you the new total before you pay. If we still cannot deliver a product after your payment, we let you know and refund it straight away.

Payment

Payments are handled by Mollie B.V. You can pay with Bancontact, a credit or debit card (also through Apple Pay or Google Pay), iDEAL, the KBC/CBC Payment Button or Belfius Direct Net. The logos are also at the start of the checkout. We never see or store your card details.

Delivery

We deliver to addresses in the 27 member states of the European Union, with bpost. We ship as soon as possible after your payment, and in any case you receive your order within 30 days. If we cannot manage that, we tell you, and you can cancel the order and get your money back in full.

The goods are at our risk until you, or someone you have named, receive them. If a parcel arrives damaged, tell us, preferably with a photo: see Damaged or wrong items.

Cancelling before shipment

Until your order has shipped, the Withdraw from contract here button on your order page refunds the full amount at once.

Right of withdrawal

You may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. This does not apply to jars whose seal you broke after delivery, because food cannot be taken back once opened, for reasons of health protection and hygiene. The conditions, the costs and the model form are on the returns and withdrawal page. The quickest way is the Withdraw from contract here button on your order page.

Legal guarantee

Everything we sell comes with the legal guarantee of conformity of two years from delivery (Belgian Civil Code). This is your right, not a favour we do you. If a product is not as it should be, tell us within two months of noticing, at info@honey-z.com. We replace it, or if that isn't possible, refund it, at no cost to you.

Honey is food: whether it is as it should be is judged against the best-before date and the storage advice on the jar.

Liability

We are not liable for damage caused by storing or using our products against the instructions on the jar. Honey is not suitable for children under 12 months.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow that, such as for death or personal injury caused by our fault, or under product liability law.

Questions and complaints

Email us at info@honey-z.com. We reply as soon as we can, and within 14 days at the latest.

If we cannot solve it together, you can turn to the Consumer Mediation Service, North Gate II, Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8 box 1, 1000 Brussels, consumerombudsman.be. It handles complaints for free and refers you to the right body if another one is competent.

Privacy and content

How we handle your personal data is in our privacy policy. The texts, photos and logo on this website belong to us or are used with permission, and may not be reused without our consent.

Applicable law

These terms and every order are governed by Belgian law. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country. You can bring a dispute before the courts of your own place of residence.

Changes

We may change these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one on this page on the day you ordered; the date at the top shows when it last changed.
